At menopause, we are stepping over the threshold into eldership - our Autumn Season of life. 

Having your last period is a big moment in your life - you may have been menstruating for around 40 years and whether you are happy to arrive at this moment or grieving the loss of a reliable rhythm, a ceremony to mark this occasion, could be a beautiful way to acknowledge your transition to the next phase of life.

At menopause, we are stepping over the threshold into eldership - our Autumn Season of life.  Where we are harvesting what we sowed and nurtured in our Spring and Summer seasons.   While not everyones relationship with your menstrual cycle is always positive - menopause is a significant transition to reach in our lives.  There is a beautiful First Nations of America People Saying;

through menstruation she practices her power

at menopause she becomes her power

About Menopause Ceremonies

Menopause is an important time in your life, if you would like to mark it with a gathering/ceremony I would love to hold this for you.  Please be in touch

  • During your ceremony you will sit in circle surrounded by your nearest and dearest.  You may wish to share some stories from your menstruating years and some wisdom you have gathered that you are taking with you into your Maga/Wild-Woman/Harvest-Queen era.  Your loved ones will share words of wisdom, poems, and stories with you before we move onto some activities. 


  • Suggested activities (choosing two-three activities):

    • Guests bring a special bead for threading onto a bracelet

    • Guests bring a poem, reading or blessing to share

    • Air-dry clay craft

    • Painting

    • Flower Crown creation 

    • Feet & hand massage, followed by painting your nails

    • Red Thread Ceremony

  • £175 - allowing 2 hours for the celebration (plus 1.5 hrs to set up and pack away)

    Provided: circle altar and herbal tea's

     Not provided: Large central Mother candle, candles/tea-lights, decorations, cushions for sitting, pens, items for activities, flowers, food & cake.
